Aww shucks, thanks sir.I did and then some.
And while I'm thrilled w/ my results, including the custom pin stripes, your's looks so good w/ that ultra clean minimalist vibe the Cabronita is known for, sans pickup mounting ring and control plate.

2018 Player series Fender Jazz Bass. Custom shop 60s pickups. Soon to string some GHS balanced nickels on it too.
Also got a white pearloid pickgaurd on order but I’m not sure if I’ll actually need it or not.

This is actually a funny story. I'm often over at my GF's place with a little unexpected time on my hands. I would love to run through some finger exercises but don't have a bass with me. So I was thinking about picking up a cheap Squier or something like that just to leave sitting in the corner. But then it dawned on me that with all of the tinkering I've done over the years I had all the parts to build a bass except (literally) a bridge, a pair of pots, and a body, all of which cost me less than a Squier would.
So meet the Jen Bass. She's got a MIM P Bass body, a Warmouth roasted maple neck (which I always kind of liked but didn't work on the bass I had originally ordered it for, just didn't have the right "chi"), a set of v-mod Fender pickups, and the various pieces and parts.
The kicker? She turned out way, way sweeter than I was expecting. This may not be something I want to just leave in the corner for when I want to practice. I may still need to buy the Squier for that!

Got this 60’s Teisco EP-200B short scale hollowbody today. Needs a little work but I dig it.
1. I really dig that green bass a lot.
2. Still curious about the Aero enhanced P/J.
3. The first thing my mind jumped to was "That UFO is going to beam the cow up."
