Bass on far left next to 6 string....is that a Ken Smith? Noticed tuning head different. This is my 15+ year old Smith.
I miss my Peavy Cirrus Fretless. Due to illness had to sell her. Know where one is please let me know.
It is funny how so many people like this look and style of p bass. I have a friend who has about the same and here is a pic of mine.

I fell in love all over again with my 2000ish MIM Precision, after not having played it for a month+

...first short scale bass I’ve ever owned...cain’t help but have good fun with it!
The question that Lenny’s post brought to mind...Again...(I’ve been mulling this over since last summer): is a White pickguard on a Precision ‘classic’ or ‘boring’?

It started out in life as a Nate Mendel P, Now it has a OEM Fender roasted maple p-neck, and Chrome flats on it. love it!
Got one just like it - with a hand wound vintage '51 p/u I stuck in it - its a pretty nice lil piece.
Yesterday was NBD. Looks abused but, I'm Loving it. 1/2 turn of each set screw of the E string bridge saddle to bring it up to meet my playing style and it's good. Also swapped out the pickguard just to be different. It weighs exactly 9 pounds which is perfect, IMO. I'm very happy with it.

Thanks, I've been wanting one of these for a few years now. I had to build some credit to afford one and patience finally paid off. Next will be an American Fender. Hopefully a 68-71 Telecaster Bass.
