I used to have one twenty years ago. This things are a lot of fun in my book. The bridge popped on my old one so I traded up to a 3L, till that bridge popped an I traded up to my first Precision, American made.

My previous EB's were Korean, this one is Chinese. Ain't wrote on the bass (thank goodness), the SJ tells me that.View attachment 3679673
Also included a nice padded gig bagView attachment 3679674

Tuned and toned and WOW what a difference. I'm tickled and giddy about how well this bass plays/feels/sounds. Well worth the money.
Jam on.

What are the specs on your mustang?

Hi Lenny,
Pickups - Nordstrand Blade P/J set (passive)

I use to have a 79 and should of never gotten rid of it. It was a cool bass for flat wounds. I think they were a flop when they came out but I dig em.

I have light weight Thomastik rounds on my 79 - the all original - and it plays and sounds great. The other one, the first bass I ever owned -bought in 78, is stripped of it's finish and oiled and has a Carvin pick up with rounds also. The necks on these basses are my favorites of all the basses I have.
