Have an Ibanez GSRM20 Mikro short scale on order. Mainly buying it to see if I like shorties...if so, Schecter has a sweet Banshee shortie. Would LOVE to replace my standard 5, with a shortie... my Deluxe is kind of heavy for me, I'm not a very big person.
Not sure what it says about me... I've only been playing for 3 years, (started at age 56) not interested in being in a band, just like learning how to play the Japanese metal that I love so much. (Dir En Grey specifically)
Opinions on Schecter's anyone?

LOL!! I only have 4.... well, until I buy the new Banshee, or I go to Japan and buy an ESP. I still have room in my office. My computer is still on a desk and not on a folding tray table.

It's all relative to your mindset, and priorities. If you've seen my posts you would know all my basses are inexpensive...but they are good. All my amps are inexpensive...and they are good. Quite frankly, I like Jim Beam, mmmmm hhmmmmm.
I recently updated my collection. Here's all 32, some on the way, some getting ready for conversion, some completed.

Quite the collection! Do you find the necks on your guitar->bass conversion hold up under the additional tension ok? Was thinking about trying to find a baritone guitar neck for a short scale project of my own...
Love the ESP, but I'm a little partial to those. Very very nice collection.
