In 2019 I bought the first passive pickup bass I've had in decades. Fender Jazz Geddy Lee signature edition MIM. LOVE this thing. Plays great and the tone is phenomenal. That rounds out my collection of 3.

I love my 2018 MIM Geddy (My 1st ever Jazz Bass) but, the day I ordered it I also ordered the EMG JVX Set to go in it. I new I wouldn't have much use for the bridge pickup and I haven't found a passive single coil I could live with. I've never liked bridge pickups in any of my Basses. I guess I think everything should sound like a Split Coil P in the sweet spot and an Active J close to the sweet spot gets it really close, LOL.

The serek is fantastic. Always wanted one, any finally caved. Still figuring out what I want to use it for! Right now it's flats, but might want to turn it into a hard rock bass.
