That Rick, I've never seen a PuP config like that... I tried to zoom in to see if it really says Rickenbacker on the Headstock, so I'm curious now if this is a custom job or a model I've never seen before...

It's one of their new 4003S/5 basses. A bit more modern of a design, but she's a real rick.

Influenced by late '50s Jim Burns of London basses, and by late '60s Danelectro designed/built bases including the Sears Silvertone Hornet and the Coral Deluxe Bass - and yes, custom designed/made by little old me! Scarab Deluxe Bass

I was just browsing those early '80s Precision Specials tonight. I was thinking it would be cool to own a P Bass from my birth year (1980) and a super cool candy apple red one with a matching headstock and gold hardware popped up. Now it's all I want. All the colors they made are awesome.

I bought my 1982 Precision Special (Arctic White) in 1983. I just love it.
