Beautiful AFR! I'm really surprised that there's not more folks on here with em... I almost want to start a megathread and see how much (or little) traction it gets.

Got my AFR5WAP (reissue), the AFR105 (original) headed my way Saturday, and just ordered a MINT EDA905 from Japan to complete the trifecta! That will be an AWESOME video (or series, don't want to make it too long.. and there's three basses!)

I just sold my SR700, that bass sounded and played nice too.

It’s actually a factory refining, when ever a paint job was rejected they became black.

Here is your 1 year older brother.

My 76 - but with a bad ass bridge. But I have since put back all original. I did notice that the 76 has the extra pick plate screw between the neck and pickup.
