The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Anything under 9lbs and I'm thrilled . My Slab is just under 11 lbs which is I think kinda the norm for a late 60's early 70's Tele . That is a somewhat heavy in my book .
Anything over 10 lbs hurts my old shoulder after about a half hour but I can play a 9 lb 6 oz Bass all evening without any discomfort. I use a 2 1/2" leather strap and tried a 3 1/2 but it always ended up digging into my neck. My Son loves his new 3 1/2 in strap now, LOL.

There you go, picture just taken this afternoon.

Gibson Thunderbird Bicentennial ( 1976 ) made in 1977 - you all know the story behind these incredible limited edition Basses by Gibson!!!
Fender Custom Shop 1960 Heavy Relic in Aged Sherwood green made in 2020 - absolutely the best Jazz Bass ever built!!!
Rickenbacker 4003s in Jetglo with waverider pickups installed ( the best out there !!! ) made in 2016 - the best slim neck profile I ever felt in any of the Ric Basses I have had, and I played quite a few!! She is a keeper that one!!

Yes, I admit, I like having the pickup covers for the neck pickups.
