I'll spare you the 5 thousand pics my buddy sent me on the progress of his build . This is an Endres , Eli's 12th or 13th build only so far but the kid is a natural using some super cool modern techniques . This is his original shape . I also own one of his guitars , pic for reference so you get the idea . Cool mix of style blended in . For this 8 String bass are lots of my requests .. 30" scale , Mahogany neck w/ rods & Volute " V" shape angled headstock and straight pull strings .Set neck . Gotoh resolites & smaller octave tuners , also Gotoh . Ziricote fretboard , Jescar frets . 12" radius . Schaller 8 bridge . TV Jones Thunderblade . One piece Maple body we found a stupid good deal on @ the 'bay and That's it . Eli said , sure no problem I will do the finishing myself . Either a dye job or something that gives it some glow like Truoil

Ain't that the truth, I almost grabbed it last week. Bought a GT1000CORE instead. if I really wanted to save up I would need a few months away from TB. And that just doesn't sound like fun to me.

Thanks! It's gone thru a couple of manifestations to arrive at what I call the T2k MkII. (Tele 2000) It was originally an '06 '51 RI CIJ P. I did the paint-stripping, routing, binding, pg and G&L electronics/pu's and Marty Bell did the piano-black & trans-brown finish. It was all trans-brown w/o binding and with a parchment pearl pg first go-around (MkI) for a few years but this version is a keeper. It's also been chambered to lighten it.

i can’t tell if it’s factory fretless or not. Real woody one to it. Very different from my warm and fat defretted EX.

New (for me!) Japanese ATK600. I used to have a wonderfull ATK 400 (which i sold ), and I just had to get this.

It needs some love (a lot of love, really), it's obviously had a rough life, but if/when I get it back in to shape, it will be even more awesome!

It came with a case, so I'm not quite sure what happened, I hope I can restore it, because even in this state, this bass sounds amazing. Pretty heavy, though, as expected
