The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

20140915_131930.jpg

I just bought this bass the other day. The price was right and the quality, as far as I can tell, is pretty good....one issue - I don't know the brand. The name is missing from the inside label and the only thing I have to go on is the A near the tuning keys. Can anyone unravel this mystery for me???

My bass is in great pristine shape. The bass looks beautiful, and only has 1 or 2 small dings. I have taken care of it throughout the years and played it occasionally . I bought it in 08’ and now its time to sell it and let someone else to experience this beautiful and beautiful sounding Bass. I paid $3200 for it. The bass is elegant and has a dynamic design, more sculpted than designed. As well as hand selected beautiful woods. The Bass is versatile, hollowed, lightweight and the wooden body contributes to the exceptional sustain and growl in the sound of the instrument. The bass is very versatile, can be played from jazz to Latin jazz and salsa. I recently took it to my local string instrumental store, String and Things for maintenance and set up. Boy does it sound great. Wanting $1500 for it

The "A" kind of looks simmilar to the one on this Ansir bass seen played by Bakithi Kumalo.

Atleast on this small phone screen. The "a" reminded me of the video.

he's a beautiful player - love his fretess work on that classic album - and that's a cool variegated gold-leaf finish on his bass
