Hi. Years ago I had a 1983 Aria Pro II SB Elite II. Sadly I sold it then hankered for years for another old Aria SB. I finally got this SB1000 (1981) which has I believe been discussed on this Forum a couple of years ago. It has an interesting history and was owned by John Taylor of Duran Duran and then he gave it to Gerry Laffy (who played guitar with John after Duran, and had the guitar for thirty odd years)

and then via Andy Hearn who had it for a couple of years... and now to me! I feel very privileged indeed. It is superb.
 
Thanks Doctor J. It's very different to the Elite in respect to string spacing, but the same in quality and feel. The history makes it feel special to play too. 33 years old and plays like a dream! That's older than lots of TB members, I'm sure!
