Um, not sure ANYONE wants to be known as Gary Glitter these days...You must change your name to "Gary Glitter"

The Red Hot Chili Peppers and MxPx were two of my favorite bands when I was a 14 year old kid learning how to play the bass guitar in 1996. It didn't take long until the Music Man Stingray became my "dream" bass. Unfortunately a $1400 bass guitar wasn't an option as would be the case for most teenage boys starting to learn an instrument. But I knew I had to have one someday. When I was 28 I quit smoking and bought my Music Man two weeks later. To be honest I didn't really even have the extra money for a big purchase. How I justified it in my head and to my wife was like this. Rather than continue spending $7 per day on cigarettes and have nothing to show for it I'm going to buy my "dream" bass which will always be awesome. I honestly think that by buying the bass it forced me to stick to quitting too because I spent almost all my money and didn't want to make my wife upset. I'm happy it worked out how it did.
Are these all custom? The 4th from the left seems to be your favorite...
OMG yes! Don't get me started pups close to the neck and trying to slap aggressively!I really like the rounded corners on that pickup. I'm a fairly aggressive fingerstyle player and find that the corners of my pickups are unforgiving. I wonder if I could sand them down . . . .. .
