The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

I have a love for eighties Reject instruments.

I got this pointy headstock number after trading in some surplus gear and promptly painted on my band's name.

Korean made plywood monster, the previous owner had put in and extra tone pot, I'm going to pull that out and put it back to being a Volume for each pickup and a master tone.

Had a nice beat-to-heck blank Jazz Deluxe body sent my way from a ‘97(?) that I decided to build out as a reverse neck ‘60’s rat Rod throwback that will be strung B-E-A-D when I finally get some vintage lefty tuners I have on order. It’s an All Parts neck that I color matched the body and beat the heck out of it too to match the aesthetic. It will be my Vander Jim Bass (in honor of my bud who sent me the body) to go with my other two Vander Jazz basses. Electronics are a set of 60’s Custom Shop pickups paired with 920D dual concentric control plate. I’m leaving the old Deluxe side output Jack plate in place because why not? Fender vintahe threaded saddles bridge, Tusq nut, and I’m still undecided about putting covers on this one.

Finished it. Introducing my Vander “Jim” Bass.
