Only been playing for 4 months or so, already own 4 four string basses and can hardly play any of them.
I have an orange Sire Marcus Miller v3 4-string coming next. Have cases, stands and straps for everything.
It's all very addictive. Really crazy at 72 yo.

The first gig that I used the Ironbird was when the singer showed up a half hour late. The crowd was irritated. He informed us he was late because he spent the entire band's earnings for the night to buy an illicit substance to pay the sound guy without our knowledge. On top of it he was pretty drunk and was annoying everyone. I learned that the pointed headstock was to jab your singer in the ribs when he gets too close.
I just removed every piece of hardware on the Aria the other night and deep cleaned everything. Put it back together, shined it all up, intonated and new strings. Made me fall in love with it all over again. Its still all original. I got it used in late 1988 for $300.

The good one right? Not the TV one. Well the one that smashed TVs is the good one...the one ON TV not so much.
Yeah I always liked the look of them. Is it made in China? How does it play and sound? I always wanted an Ibanez DB700. I may contact the Ibanez custom shop and see what they would charge to make one to my specifications. Kiesel custom shop has some nice pointy shapes too!
