The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Man, w

Man, where did you find a Warwick with grain figuring that nice! :woot:

I've almost never seen Warwick use maple that highly figured.
I guess I just lucked out! I was at the store when the shipment arrived and was the first guy to plug it in. Immediately had to buy it; traded a whole bunch of weird guitars and basses for it. No regrets, it has been an amazing bass. The only other Warwick that I have liked this much was the FNA with F holes from the same era. I really need to spruce this baby up. The wood is very soft and has lots of little dents and dings from my fingers.

I guess I have to show this one off here.
Brand new BFR fretless stingray

Just got this back after I had bought this used from GC with the original preamp not functioning (I mean it works but the treble knob wasn’t responsive).

Fitted a Sadowsky preamp and installed 74’ Pure Vintage Jazz pickups. It’s a slap beast and am digging!

It plays so well that it’s now a permanent member of the family

That is nothing short of impressive!!

Recently picked up a new Squier CV 70s Precision. It had some high/dead frets in the upper register, so the shop I purchased it from put it on a PLEK machine at no cost and wow!! what a difference! Frets are leveled perfectly. Very comfortable neck, super easy to play. Going to eventually install a Custom Shop '62 Pickup, CTS pots, Orange Drop, Switchcraft output jack...etc. Love this thing!!

I have the earlier version of one - I've used it to learn fast bass-lines like in Reza. Works well. Lately I've been slowing down songs on YouTube to do the same thing.
