I can deal with the fixed YouTube %'s - the advantage is I can visually locate the needed section time-line wise and find & repeat it quickly. I learned this piece on YouTube using it -
Can you post that whole bass? I remember the peghead, that I liked it, but can't see it again in my head. I suppose I could go look but, well because lazy.

I searched for it but couldn't locate it - but that Barbie gum-ball machine image reminds me of a good Twilight Zone episode with the Mr Hainy character from Green Acres. (in a similar "back-folk-people" role) He bought a big glass jar with liquid and hair in it and became a celebrity in his community. Won't give away the rest - it's a classic Twilight Zone episode.

Read Fahrenheit 451 remember its 50+ years old. There is so much he got right, conceptually/atmospherically if not literally.

The cool thing I realized more recently is that the late '60s movie Fahrenheit 451 was filmed by Francois Truffaut, one of my favorite (French New Wave) directors.
Alarming how often life imitates art. 1984 at the door.

Here are a pair of basses I am very fortunate to have. 1989 Peavey Rudy Sarzo Signatures.
I got the red one first in 2013 at a price that couldn't be beat. What a bass. It has an interesting background but the bottom line is it's all original and everything works. I nearly sent it back but the more I played it The more I was impressed. I cannot get over the comfort level of this bass - it feels like I was measured for it, and it sings for me.
It took a while but in 2019 I picked up the other one, also at a great deal. These instruments truly reflect Peavey showcasing them as their flagship model. The build is first rate and these really feel like extensions of myself. I have a lot of A+ basses, but these are in the top 5.
It's the only bass model I have 2 untouched versions of.
They're both excellent, but if I had to pick one it would be the red one. It's just honed a little bit finer. Top tier instruments both.
