The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Installed a set of black Sperzel keys & a Babicz bridge on the metal necked beater today. I have a set of Nordstrand PJ Blades on order, but they’re still 3-4 weeks out. Gonna be goooood :bassist:

Where did you obtain that drop in battery box? I have this nightmare about shorting out the wires on my battery connector.
It's from Amazon. Search for 9V battery box and a couple should pop up from Musiclily and KAISH. Just make sure you put the battery in the right way. I killed a Schecter preamp once putting the battery in backwards by accident

Same situation with me but on an NS Design Bass. Crazy what a battery can do if installed the wrong way :wacky:

How did you decide pu location - MM?, T-bird?, G&L L2000?
I was going for MK1 Wal spacing but couldn’t get any super mathematically 100% accurate measurements so I sent my luthier this photo I found & asked him to just eyeball it. Looks close enough to me!

Can’t wait to get this one! The wiring should be finished this weekend, and then it’s the FedEx waiting game. Uuuuhhgh :nailbiting:

Wal guys are pretty protective of that brand, so trying to get certain measurements results in backlash.
One TB post I've seen, was the neck pickup is 12" to center (from 12th fret) and 15" (from 12th fret)
