There’s too many list of basses I regret selling. Some were good eye candy basses but never something to brag about playing or worthy of gigging. Here’s two of them.

One that I had fun editing and wish I kept for future photoshoot prop!

My only issue with those basses was their tonal character and comfortability. Especially the white Steinberger having such a sticky neck compared to the matte black which made it difficult on the fretting hand.

I had a giant leap forward in the last few weeks , super light strings . I'm not a slapper but I may be soon lol . Seriously these are the strings right here . Super light .. super low action , straight af neck. Slappa da bass all night !

Picked up this Epi Exploder on FB. Needed a little love as did the hard case. In tip top shape now. I think it's a '99 according to the Internet. Sounds great! Neck is a CHONK. Keep or flip...?

I'm usually not a pointy guy but I'd keep that and rock the chonk.

I’m with you on that one. There’s too many times I’ve been a victim of flipping an instrument to find out I actually really liked the instruments. It’’s not the same when you go out and buy another one cause it doesn’t have the same imprint the first time you bought it.

Love light gauge strings and low action.
Those are the same gauges I run from ghs.
The D'Addario sets I use have a .070 A.

Like Billy Gibbons said of his extra light sets
"Why fight heavy strings?"

Does it have a 1-5/8" neck?

I'll have to check , I actually don't know . These "Seymour Duncan" instruments were build as a tribute to SD by ESP . This one is a late 90's iirc . It's a wonderful bass . I added the VTVT and the KTS . I'll check later

Shecter Diamond Series instruments are top notch. Seymour Duncan pickups sound awesome. This bass is gorgeous and looks like it sounds even better. Very nice!

When it was dropped off from UPS I was scared seeing that the bottom of the packaging was half open. Hoping the instrument didn’t get damaged but it looked immaculate out of the box!

All I need to do next is tighten up the washers cause some of the knobs are loose, and a replacement knob for the 3 switch rotary. It keeps sliding off when you turn the knob

Finally after 3 weeks of waiting! My Fender replacement tuners came in. Now I can finally get this bass going
