I installed brass inserts in the body cavity to accept mounting screws for either P-Style or J-style neck pickups, and have pickguards to match either (or will have; I haven't finished the J-style guard yet).
And my pickups are connectorized.
I can convert from PJ to JJ in about 10 minutes time.
That is very clever. I would love to see pics of the conversion!

Once I get the J-guard cut, I'll post up.

I bought a standard J-guard originally to match the Warmoth P-guard, but the required reroute for the P's extended the cavity too far down - - it would leave a gap.

Have material, have tools, have a plan ready... just short on tuits.

Pics of the cavity setup are on my phone - I will add below this post in a sec.
