Is this the one with the S1 switch? If so, I had one of these with a RW board and the neck PU had the most glorious P bass tone. Wish I had never sold it.
Yes, this came with the S1. Previous owner replaced it. I'm now searching for an S1 lower knob to put it back.
Quite hard to come by.

Did you check with Fender? Maybe they have one.
Yes. They pointed me toward a number of parts resellers. I've come up empty handed. No one has them. I have the actual switch (pot) and the center "button" portion, I'm just missing the lower knob. Frustrating. I can't believe this little part is that rare.

Looks like you could put a regular Jazz knob on the drill press with a Forstner bit.
I'm surprised about that as well. I found the pot and the button as well (on Reverb), but not the knob.
I posted these pictures of my latest acquisition in the Spector members group, a brand new Spector euro 5LT. I bought my first five string bass two weeks ago and I’ve been hooked since. Now I’m transitioning fully to five stringers. The Spector is my second five string bass ever and within a two week period. Amazing player!

Here's my oldest and newest bass next to each other.
On the left is my oldest in terms of ownership. My MIM 2003 Fender Dimension IV. To the right is my newest but oldest bass. A 1969 (I believe) Ibanez model 1915 hollow body bass.
Unfortunately no sticker or serial number on this bass. Just the metal Ibanez logo attached to the "open book" style headstock. I found an old Ibanez catalog from 70/71 that has this bass but in a different color.
Everything on her is original except for the bridge and of course the strings. She's no case queen. She's got lots of dings, scratches and chips but she sounds very nice!
