On a 1 to 10 scale of ugly I give it a strong -76.4. so yeah, the opposite of ugly to an overwhelming degree.Aged nicotine is ugly don’t ya think

Every time I see that photo I wish that was my bass.
Pulled my first bass out and gave it some long over due love. It went into the case years ago and has popped out here and there. Its got sentimental value and I'll never get rid of it so it lives in a closet.
The last time I tried to revive it I tried to install an OBP3 but that adventure yielded scratchy pots, a weird boost, and wasn't very fun to deal with.
Had some motivation and time today so I gave it a crack and decided to go VVT. The outcome far exceeded my expectations and I'm having a blast hanging out with a long list friend.
Basses ignored and reacquainted are like new bass days!

Right is an AVRI 58, left is it's stunt double I built with PV63s and an AO50s neck. So pickups, neck radius, same hardware, and 58 is see thru blonde and the double is Oly white but from a few feet pretty much the same.

Two of the most comfortable basses I've ever played have been a Matt Freeman Squier Sig, and now an Affinity Jaguar H. I thought highly of Squier before, and now I think highly of the Affinity line also. Nice basses.
they both sound amazing. I have a pretty nice collection and this one is really special. Like an old classic car that does what it does in style. I actually have a new set of flats Labella “string through “ set coming tomorrow. I cannot wait to pop on ! I have LTF on it now but i have snapped a couple at the bridge so this should be the remedy
