Figured I'd chime in with the instrument team. Back to playing in a rock band after many years only doing acoustic duos/light jazz, so have some new basses. Had to take the full family photo.

L-R:
Unknown upright, possibly from 1968. Bought in the late 1990's
2014 NS Designs EUB, had since new
2022 Yamaha TRBX505 bought new Jan 2023
2022 Fender American Pro II P-Bass bought new 2023 (was an expensive January)
1977 Fender Musimaster bass, bought in 1998

Even though I’ve been on here pretty much since the beginning of Talkbass , I’ve never thought to officially sign up. So decided to finally do it.
Anyway, let’s get straight to business.

5 string Dingwall Super P

5 string Bogart- Bart PU’s, and Noll 3 band EQ with sweepable mids. Passive pull on volume knob, and toggle for side red LEDs

5 string Modulus Quantum with 21mm wide spacing. East pre amp with sweepable mids, and separate passive tone (pull for passive mode). Plus two 4 way rotaries for the pick ups- rear coil, front coil, parallel and series.

Wow what a nice set, would dedinitely have a hard time picking one the one to play! They all seem born to play heavy!

Thanks - as I look back, it's been a scary number of years gathering up this group. Here's the rest:

???? Tokai/Warmoth Tele build, assembled in 1993
2020 Klos full carbon guitar, bought new
2009 Dan Bills guitar, local builder, bought new
1995 Seagull guitar, my first real guitar, bought new on a payment plan
2021 Clark octave mandolin, custom build
2017 Phoenix Bluegrass mandolin, bought slightly used in 2017
1923 Gibson A mandolin, inherited in the early 1990's, was my main mando for years
191? Weymann Mandolin, also inherited in the early 1990's, my first mando

All but the Weymann still get played or gigged regularly. I dread string changing times.

Man, I can never find a floral or paisley. At least not at a time when finding it aligns with actually having funds simultaneously. And I'm not a flipper. Some day. I'm feeling pretty covet-y right now and doing inappropriate things. Shocks AND pegs...lucky!

Here's one you don't see everyday. Plays beautifully big clear piano like, sustain all day...and balances perfectly!
