DROOL! Man I LOVE the way that bass looks. It has an unbeatable seriousness and simple elegance to it. It just screams "nuttin' but tone, kids, killer tone...". ugh, this is NOT good for my GAS...

You said "essentially passive", what are the controls again?

It has an active module called the redeemer by Creation Audio Labs . It eliminates the loading effects of the cable and all the other components in the signal chain . I am thinking of offering it with my passive basses . It essentially sounds like it does with the preamp in .

It's a blue burst. Pete always uses a clear coat. He stains the WOOD. This is one of the reasons his finishes look so great... they don't mask the grain because the grain isn't obscured by a tinted finish, the grain itself is tinted, and then enhanced by the clear coat.
