I don't know how long this thread will go, but I think it'd be pretty darned cool if it gained good momentum and became something kinda' special like I think this particular batch of instruments is.

That wont be hard, Pete takes pics for the website of all the basses when finished, even if I happen to miss getting shots after final assembly. I will post them with their owners name as I get them.

I don't care if you wanna' have a number assigned I can give you one, but it might seem kinda' odd if you don't have one and don't have any current plans to get one. Your choice.

Can't do it Vic, I have seen it, held it, and heard it. its great in every way and is more punchy than I am assuming your bass is. If you can swing it, have no fear man, you will be quite happy.

Okay, here are some Skjolds for ya! :D

First up, is my main axe, and my first Skjold. A Custom 5, with mahogany body, rose myrtle top, 7-piece neck, and bubinga fingerboard:

Here is my Exotic Custom 4. It has a spanish cedar body, fiddleback mahogany top/back, 7-piece neck, and ebony board with custom gold pearl inlays:

The big inlay on the neck pocket cover is Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor. The inlays are Gugnir, a symbol for Odin's spear.

Its not more punchy than yours Vic. Paul didnt get to play yours I dont think and doesnt realize what an ash punch monster it is hehe.

I think this bass would be a great compliment to the Skjold Stable though :)
