Yeah, the more I look at the way Swan did the headless (a tiny head as opposed the nothing), the more I like it!
Yeah, I totally agree. I think being able to hang the bass is useful, but I prefer when the builder uses the space to do something more interesting than a square or rectangular spot just to mount a square or rectangular headpiece.
What amps are you guys using or planning on using with your Swans? I think I'm on the lookout for a new amplifier...
Im in between rigs currently but I’m planning on using Trickfish.
TRICKFISH BULLHEAD ALL THE WAY! I use with Aguilar TH 500 too, but Trickfish and Swan is a match made in heaven!
My bass has arrived! I have it unpacked and I'm letting it come up to temp some before I open it as it's about 2 degrees outside and that case is cold right now. I'll try to get some pics up tonight!

Lighter, easier to tune, I like the look on Hipshot better but it’s too heavy, so far so good!
Have either of you tried tape wounds with the Riviera system? I tried contacting them, but no answer. I was going to order a custom set from Pyramid, but the told me:
Well, I wouldn´t use flatwounds or black tapes for this system, flatwounds should (shouldn't?) be cut away – the string can be “dead” after cutting.
