So i put down a deposit for an omicron infinity 7 string headless. it will be 5 months before he can start because of the wood I selected. the waiting begins anyone have any thoughts as to the build?
Swan omicron infinity 7 string
- body mahogany
- top walnut burl
- neck flame toasted maple 3pz satin or oil finish
-fingerboard ebony
- scale 31
- 26 fret (may go to 28 fret, why not it can fit lol)
- compound radius 30’ to 40
- preamp Mike pope 4-band A/P
- pickups hand made (I think he is doing those lakeside pickups... not sure)
- full ramp ebony squared
- bridge riviera
-string spacing 16mm
- dot abalone
- nut brass
-all hardware black
- case swan
- matching headstock
- back headstock ebony
- logo abalone

I am not sure... them being in Argentina makes certain woods a challenge, I would love to have an old-growth tight grain redwood or spruce possibly even...
I've sold maybe 50 basses in my life. I don't miss any. But this one, I miss.
An update on my Swan situation since a couple people have asked about my previous bass.
The bass I received from Christian was absolutely awesome in almost every way.. What I didn’t like? The bolt-on neck joint which is completely on me as I knew it was a bolt-on when I ordered it. I didn’t know how the joint would feel in the higher register but it didn’t work for me. So I sold the bass.
Fast forward to now and.. it’s time for another Swan! This time with a set-neck! Here are the specs:
Body shape with these specs..
⁃ RHO V1 Set-neck 6 string
⁃ Ash body
⁃ Spalted Maple top
⁃ Dark accent laminate
⁃ Roasted Maple neck 3 piece
⁃ Figerboard Roasted flame maple
⁃ Scale 30.75” - 16.5mm spacing
⁃ 26 fret
⁃ Radius 16”
⁃ Passive - v/b/t
⁃ Pickups Lake Triple Agent w/ ramp
⁃ Strap lock Dunlop flush
⁃ Nut Material brass
⁃ Truss rod double action
⁃ Bridge Riviera headless
⁃ Satin finish body/neck
⁃ Case Premium Swan
The body shape is the same as the bass below as is the fretboard. The top will be spalted maple.

In the end, the colour is going to be "garage red."

I had to look back at the specs of your bass, but that's certainyl something that I think would work very well with my bass preferences as well. I really find those riviera bridges intriguing. They look great and I think they make a lot of sense functionally. The colour is great too! It works very well with the natural wood.
