The fox you mean :p

:D seriously that photo of the two on the ladders looks like something you would see framed or in a Histry book or at the Guggenheim. I used to love taking pictures I had a Canon AE-1 and had so much fun with that thing with a Macro lens and stuff I never took any classes pretty much just aimed and shot. I ended up pawning it quite awhile ago...should get back into it.

My Nikon FE2 broke today

Some piece inside the body is broken and there's no way to fix it anymore; parts aren't available, tools aren't available, people who can repair it aren't available.

I still have an FE that's working, but this is kinda sour after paying € 200 for the FE2.

Sorry to hear it. That's got to be frustrating. Hopefully you won't encounter anymore dudes on unusually tall ladders or taxidermy specimens until you get a new one.

:P

My camera is a Nikon CoolPix L22. That particular pic was a sorta attempt at an artsy framed shot, with the walk way, the Narnian lamp and various trees in different colors. And ultimately reduced to 800x600, because I don't have PhotoBucket Professional. the original pic is in 4000x3000 pixels.

Caeman, I liked the lamp post. The angle of the lamp head reflected the angled tree to the right.

Here's a few sky pictures I snapped on the way home. Olympus SP-510UZ. Low res, no retouching.

Overhead, about 6:15 pm ET

Horizon wide angle, a few minutes later

Same spot. 10x optical zoom. I like how the tree line echoes the cloud shapes.

Love this camera, my first dslr. wish it was a little bit bigger and had stepped up 1 more level for the 500d since it has hd video and mine doesnt have & it is only a slight price difference.

Sorry to mess with your vision, dude! I was really just intending to fix the brightness a little and I got carried away. :)

I know many of you are devoted fans of Lady Galadriel, but she was out of town this week, so I dropped a dime on Wonder Woman, and she agreed to do a photo shoot for me. :hyper:

Here she is posing on top of some travel books.

A close-up. Isn't she beautiful!!! :D

Wonder Woman is also dedicated to education, especially learning a second language. WW recommends starting with French, as she says it is a pretty language.

i_got_a_mohawk, I got WW to pose just for you. She said, "I ain't a scared of Edinburgh or Glasgow, as I have a double-edged axe!" :D
Books on Edinburgh and Glasgow? All you need is one page saying "Don't go there" :p
I quite fancy getting a lensbaby kit when I finally pickup an SLR, some pretty funky effects :)
_IGP9533-1.jpg

Wonder Woman: "Old man Baxter, I don't see the quarter you say you dropped on the floor. Are you sure you dropped it here?"
Old man Baxter: "Yes, I'm sure I dropped it right there. Keep looking sweetie; take all the time you need."

Enjoy.

Mike ;)
