TBH I don't know. I bought the bass used and it came with this guard. Here's another pic.

Thanks for the second pic.

I asked about it because I MUCH prefer the subtle look of your guard to the one on my fiesta red jazz.

No I just took a regular tort guard and cut away at it. I wanted to leave the rest of the front of the bass exposed and it came routed on the front side. I couldn't find any guard that was shaped right after tailoring the pickup route. It was one of those projects that just happened.

What did you cut it with? I always read that this was a bit tricky to do yourself without the right tools.

I just made a basic template leaving about a 1/8 so I wouldn't have to start over. I just clamped it down to the work bench and went for it. Then I just used your basic rasp file. It was a little tedious though. Then just sanded it smooth. I came out pretty good. Maybe I got lucky. She is a real one of a kind bass. The body is Black Korina on Black Kornia. I got a great deal on the neck on reverb for about 200 dollars. Its a tele neck with birds-eye maple. She setup really good and is a blast to play. The action is super low and she almost plays like an electric.
