Is that a 5 string conversion too? Even if not the tort really works well with that.

Yes it will be a 5 string bass ...

It should be ready by early August ...

I think the tort works really well on the mapleglo S basses ... the lack of binding improves the look ...

This has to be said. And I'm making a stand for the apparently two or three of us on this site.
I simply do not care for any sort of tort. I also do not particularly like any variation of 'burst paint job, either.
And while I'm going full out rouge here...Julie Newmar specifically as Catwoman, AND Barbra Eden as Genie, and me, in a intimate get together while they treat me like the lead vocalist/guitar player, BEFORE they see the basses in the corner.
And now for a self preservation technique that has served me well several times in my past...
Duck, and place hands over head, do not hesitate! SERPENTINE! SERPENTINE! Remember! DO NOT look back, it will only slow you down...

But personally I'd replace them in my version of your scenario with Yvonne Craig as Batgirl, and Diana Rigg as Mrs. Emma Peel. Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout, Willis!

I had a Modulus graphite fretless. It was nice but if theres a little string buzz somewhere it becomes an issue. It had Seymore Duncan Pj's with three little white eq switches. They seemed to disapear as quickly as they came.
