It just dawned on me that i don't own anything with a tort pickguard! I think this must be remedied before TB kicks me off the forum, crap!

Thought that was one of the registration requirements.

I don't remember the Squier Mustang but have heard that you would have no trouble at all unloading yours if you wanted to. You might even make a profit if what I heard is true.

I liked Agent 99. But I was very little and she was kinda grainy on the black and white TV. As I recall, there was nothing tort about her. She probably didn't even eat salami, let alone wear it.

Im not a fan of pickguards on a bass and none of mine have one. I do however have a tort guard on my Strat which was a huge improvement over the stock white/black/white IMO

The tort on that p bass is perfection. I bet there's many here who'd pony up good $$ to take it off your hands.

It's the nicest P-Bass I've ever owned, and I have owned a few. It's all original and weighs only 8.5 pounds. It has a super chunky neck, but I've grown fond of it. I keep it set up with La Bella flatwounds and a piece of foam under the bridge cover for my Steely Dan tribute band:

Wow, I'm shocked that tort actually looks great on a ( very ) small percentage of these basses!
