do keep in mind, it's a completely different beast. much brighter and humbucky, not the same type of lows at all.
never quite understood the brand loyalty with Warwick, their models are all so vastly different, I would rather have a P-bass to, say, a Stryker tbh, but most fortresses and ash/maple 'vettes perk me right up. between tones, shapes, necks, there is easily a Wick for anyone. this means at the same time, there is a Wick for anyone to not like out there. as opposed to the 2 basic Fender sounds, the standard Gibson mud, the EMG whine Spectors have...
I of course don't denounce this at all! innovation should not be limited by a name! but I find a lot of people like to blindly follow a brand, and note that doing that with Warwick... not always the best move.
