get EMPs. They are black labels with a protective coating and my sets last me over 8 months each

Quick question here guys...I have an '01 Warwick Streamer Stage II sitting on my bench, and I'm working on the preamp. Someone hacked it up pretty dang good. The schematics on the MEC and Warwick sites are all but useless.

Would anyone who has one of these basses from around the same time period be willing to snap some good pictures of the inside of their control cavity??

I'd love to become a member of the Warwick Club, but alas I no longer own my 2003 Bleach Blonde, and it is killing me inside! I am actually on a search for a new Warwick if anyone is willing to part with theirs for a reasonable price. Here is a picture of my old baby, and me playing it.

If you all still have room for one more in the club, I'd love to be considered one of your own!

I'm a new Warwick owner! I bought a passive $$ rockbass from GC a few months ago and I loved the tone and feel so much that I bought the active $$ off of TB here a little while ago. It has so much more bass and output! I'll try and take some pictures tonight and tomorrow when I'm at a gig.

Btw, I'm using MTD nickels (came on the bass) right now. The stainless steel Warwick strings aren't my thing (the ones that came in the care kit) but whatever ones were on the passive rockbass would work well. Anyone know what those would've been? I'm guessing the nickle Warwick strings.

i think it would be nicer if the entire top was bubinga instead of showing the neckthru. basically, similar to current design but in a single cut version. i bet it helps tremendously with what some people 'think' is neck dive on wicks.

I was having trouble with my B-E-A-D tuned FNA. It just wasn't getting the DEPTH I needed. So, I heard that if I Watered it, and gave it some Wiagra (Viagra for Wenge!) It might get Bigger!

I use GB7's. But!!!!

I have to Grind about 1/2 the Handle off to make it fit over the top of the "B" Tuner. Pretty much make the Stem going towards the handle the Bottom. It takes about 15 minutes. Mostly because it gets HOT grinding metal, and you have to let it cool off a few times. But when you need a Droped "D" in a hurry, there's nothing like having a 5er with an Extender. And when you need to go "Deep "C" Diving", just slide that lever back into the Locked position, and let it Rumble!

It gives a 5er AMAZING Flexibility! And for whatever reason I find a 5er Corvette just balances better than a 4-Banger Corvette. Maybe GOD meant it to be that way!

Just to share my experience with WW strings.

I used them (Black label) for several years on my Streamer Jazzman 5 with mixed results. Nothing to say about the tone which is great but on a few set, I had a dead E string that didn't have that great zing stainless strings have out of the box.

I use Ken smith stainless and D'addario for 3 years now without a single bad string.

Recently, I took a chance on a set of yellow label and guess what... dead E and B string out of the box.

Considering that WW strings are not exactly cheap, I'm realy disapointed and won't return to WW for strings again.
