A) No,
I had a 1993 Corvette proline 5 (fl.maple body/maple neck/wenge fingerboard, active MEC's/2 band pre).

The ebay bass looks like a mid '90s Corvette std passive fretless (bubinga body/Wenge neck/ebony fb)

You may have to do some light routing to the pickup cavity to accomodate the side screws for the MEC TJ. The TJ is thinner than the MM style pickup so it might squeeze in the existing routing. I did this in reverse recently (went from a TJ active pickup in my 'Vette to a Nordstrand MM pickup) and had to widen the pickup cavity by about 1/2 inch to accommodate the Nordstrand MM pickup. Unfortunately I don't have the TJ anymore, otherwise I would take a measurement to see how the two actually compare.

Trujo already covered the wiring issues pretty well... the pickup will need to be hooked to your battery and as he said, talking to a luthier would be your best bet for that.

Thanks Guys. I ended up contacting the Warwick/ Framus Custom shop here in NYC. just waiting to get a quote for the work. but both of you guys were dead on with what the Luthier told me.

Does anyone have some info on the mid 90's Warwick Streamer Bolt On's? I'm looking for info on the 4 string P/J model in particular. What were the bodies made from, necks and fingerboards too. Also, what pickups were offered. Gold hardware standard? Are they rare? What would a good price be for one in good condition? Any info would help alot. Thanks!

Unfortunately, neck on my Thumb is warped a little, which creates one hell of a nuisiance. I'm going to luthier with it, to see if there's anything that can be done.
If not.. sh*t..I'll have to send this one to Warwick and pay for new neck. -.-'

Bubinga Corvette...I love this thing more than anyone could imagine. I like the fact that I could probably kill someone with it if I had to.

Hey-I almost pulled the trigger on a nice 90s streamer standard on Guitar Center's online used gear, but was late. They were cherry-bodied bolt-ons with (i think) maple and wenge necks...gold or chrome hardware. I had a TBer PM me pics of his when i was I was selling my stingray 5; though his had been refinished, it was clearly a wenge board/brass nut '90s model and bolt-on. If you find one-grab it, or better yet, tell me about it!

I believe the bodies were made of Carolena, not Cherry.
