Unfortunately, neck on my Thumb is warped a little, which creates one hell of a nuisiance. I'm going to luthier with it, to see if there's anything that can be done.
If not.. sh*t..I'll have to send this one to Warwick and pay for new neck. -.-'

I'm not a big fan of Corvettes, but the blue one with blue strings does look good.

Whats that neck made of? I thought Prolines were maple neck.
The guy I bought it from said it was an Ovangkol neck with a Wenge fingerboard. I haven't really done any research to know if this is a correct statement or not.
Yes, it is an Ovangkol neck and Wenge fingerboard.

I see Warwick has an Adjust a nut III available. Anyone know where to buy one in the good ol' USA?
any Warwick dealer should be able to order it. I got two from bass central for around $50 which may or may not be a good price lol.
the nuts fit any bass. there are nuts for broad neck Warwicks too.

Looks like I'll be coming back to the club here shortly. I've previously had a Corvette Std 4 bubinga with passive electronics (regret selling that, but I was mostly using 5-strings and it wasn't seeing much play time), a Corvette $$ 5 (LOVED the way this played, but honestly it had too many tonal options and spent too much time messing with them to enjoy playing it), and a Corvette standard 5 ash with passive electronics (with the new thinner profile neck...very punchy sound, but overall didn't enjoy that one much), but got rid of all of them and now have a Stingray which I absolutely love. However, my two 5 strings are not all that great (squier precision 5 and olp mm3), so I thought I'd combine my favorite features and get a bass I should really love...
Corvette Standard 5 bubinga with active electronics!! I love the punch and growl that comes with the bubinga, the extra tonal options of the two band eq (without the extras of the $$), and the comfort of the thicker neck. I should have by the end of the week/beginning of next week when I get home from my business excursion. Can't wait!!
