Fortunately, the flat downstairs has been empty for a couple of months so I'm good to make a bit of noise
Sounds as good as she looks...and does not complain when I snore...so perfect really...hahaha!!
This has great tone and is so small and light..
Great neck and the PuP config is kick a&^%.
I saw in this thread ya have a black double $$...
I had the same bass...sadly had to let it go at that time...

I don't know what took me so long. I've been playing the same MIA Fender Jazz for 13 years, and I've had a constantly rotating cast of sidekicks, fivers, G&Ls, Ibanez, precisions, you name it, but a few months ago I decided that it was just the Jazz configuration that hit for me, and so I started thinking about a Corvette Standard.
I was resistant at first because I tried a 'wick a few years back at Guitar Center and was immediately put off. The neck felt like a baseball bat, and sticky. The body weighed a ton, expensive, etc.... All these things came to characterize Warwicks in my mind.
But I gave 'em another chance, and I'm so glad I did. I don't know if that one I tried was just an extraordinarily unlucky example or what, but the one I ended up with is great! Still a little heavier than my Jazz, but a great compliment to it as well, and the two make a perfect pair.

Well against my better judgement I took my Warwick thumb to my new bands first show this weekend. Just didn't think it fit the band. We are a country/ classic rock band, and thought my tele bass just looked and sounded more the style.
But there was a fear that the band might not work out and wanted to play that thumb on stage so bad I decided to go ahead and bring it along. So glad I did. It fit the mix perfect looked great and well its a warwick. Plays so smooth and fits me just perfect. The two of us had a lot of fun on stage (me and my thumb that is) and in the end I think the band might be ok.
So I am going to say that my warwick might just have saved my band!!!! lol probably a bit of an overstatement, but I sure had a great time playing it that night.

I have a 97 Corvette fretless heading my way that should be here by Saturday. Pics when it arrives!
