My Corvette (yeah, its a Rockbass, but I love it).

Of course an active bass will also have a battery in the compartment! I had an old corvette that I added active EMGs, but kept the passive electronics. It sounded great - basically the same basic tone, but with more output and headroom.
 
Hey guys I need your advice.

I have an opportunity to make a trade and acquire a 4 string Corvette $$ in Nirvana black. I've always wanted a Wick, but do you guys feel this is the right Wick to get?

Does the Corvette $$ (the German made one of course) have the potential to be a go-to 4 string?

It's actually a bolt on. I heard the story is they used old streamer bodies and cut the necks off to make these limited basses. Awesome tone though! Epitome body with maple top, not 100% but it sounds like it's chambered.
