I don't know about handmade, but that is a slick looking beast. Is it made of chocolate? It looks yummy.
Cheers guys for the comments. It's a really nice player too. It's been 10 years since I had my last Warwick and it's great to be playing one again.
I was a bit surprised with how versatile the sound is with the Twins J's being so close together. That wasn't something I would had expected prior to hearing it.
Always love the wenge necks too. Beautiful to play and very fast.
Just snagged #56 dirty blonde! It came to me in pristine mint condition with original emp strings with lots of Zing still left in it!
I'll have pictures up soon. This is my third dirty blonde and this one is definately a keeper! The other two were dogged out compared to this beauty.

Hey yall-so i posted earlier on about purchasing a current line Rockbass streamer LX 5. Well, it arrived yesterday. I've had studio dates the last couple days straight so i didnt have time to set it up before my gig last night which i brought it out to( I host a big funk/secondline/brassband/jazz open mic).
Sounded great last night, but after finally tinkering with lowering the bridge and saddles and getting the action comfortably low, oiling the board etc...man, this thing is way nice for the bucks. Really characteristic Warwick tone. Sounded great going thru my GK 800RB and Epifani 4x10. I like pretty damn low action but i also dig in and this bass has a nice "snarl" and edge to it tonally. It's a B-stock, but essentially it really only had some slight scratches in the gloss black finish. Doesn't look cheap, doesn't feel cheap-really sounds great and cuts thru. I have the stock Warwick strings which are pretty nice but I'll probably slap on some DRs in the near future. They did a really nice job on this newer Rockbass line-nice feeling chunkier but comfy neck and pretty damn nice fit and finish. No sharp fret edges and the hardware and electronics are pretty sweet. Hopefully I'll post some pics up soon-Cheers!

Somebody is a sucka for a non-oil/natural finish... it's ok. Nobody's perfect.
I actually have a $$ corvette in nirvana black plus i was eyeballin that dirty blonde you got rid of pretty hard. I just really like that streamer!

Beautiful 810 Mesa!
I owned a Hartke 810XL cab for maybe 5 years.
Recently offed it to switch over to all GK.
But I have always wanted to invest in a all Mesa right.
Was thinking about going with the same cab you show in the photo and maybe the M6 or M9 Carbine heads.
Any feedback ya have on the cab would be appreciated...thanks

Thanks for the kind words. I would suggest Mesa cabs to anyone. I was an Ampeg player for years, and this blows any of their lines out of the water. Heavy, but really easy to transport with the back rails and built in wheels. The sound is phenomenal, tight, clean, can handle any amount of power (its rated at 1200, but even when I throw every bit of my 1600 watts to it, it has not even hinted at being pushed) I have been curious about the M9 head, My SVTPRO4 just isn't cutting it anymore, having alot of tech problems now.

I have a GK 700RBII head I am using at the moment.
A GK 410 cab and a GK 115 cab...sometimes run them separately...sometimes together.
But I am not really 100% on this set up.
As I was not 100% on the Hartke set up I had before this one.
I loved the Hartke 810 cab...Just thought the matched head lacked a bit.
There is a Mesa Dealer near where I live.
They could order me Mesa gear.
But they have very limited Bass gear that I could actually try and listen to.
Meaning I would need wing it and invest heavily into something I will not have heard.
A bit scary
I kind of liked the idea of getting that Mesa cab that has 4-10's and 1-15 built into one cab....But would love to hear it first.
If not that one maybe the 8-10 cab?
So hard to know what to do without hearing first.
So I dunno?

I did some touring in a metal band a few years ago with the ph1200 (the 410+115). It was a really great cab. The 15 really thickens up the low end. I decided to go with the 810 because I wanted versatility. But it is scary to make a big purchase without playing it. There are many reviews on both cabs. The 1200 has mostly good, with a few negatives ( i think one main one was phase issues when recording). I haven't found a negative review on the 810 yet.
Yea I was really skeptical about getting a cab with an "all in one" type of mentality.
Not sure how they have them working together or dialed in?
I figured if Mesa offered it it MUST be good
hahaha!!But I would most likely not buy one without playing through it.
I have no prob buying basses online without trying them.
But not heads or cabs normally.

It seems to me that it would have some phase issues with the 15" being so close to the 10"s. Is it the one with the 15" in the center and the 10"s around it? -Luke
