Punch the full number in on the Warwick site and it should tell you all you need to know. I do like that blue...

I think the lookup is restricted to German instruments, so no RB? But yours looks German. Does the number start with a single letter? Isn't there a note about earlier models where you can send pictures and they look it up for you.

You're free to do what you want but that wouldn't apply to the finishes used by Warwick IMO.
OK. All I need now is a strap. This is my first bass without a strap pin on the upper horn. All of my fine leather straps put this bass up under my chin! Ha!

Hi ! I wanted to know what kind of material was used to make fretlines on a fretless Warwick and do any of you like it ?
I was thinking of getting a fretless thumb BO6 to go with my current Thumb BO6 fretted. But unlined is a little too difficult for me since I don't play it very often.

Not sure about the fretlines, but I wanted to relay some experience with matched fretted/fretless bass pairs. Mine were Zons, and despite the fret difference they sounded remarkably similar to each other. You might consider a different model or at least different pups/preamps to differentiate the two basses. Ymmv
yeah i definitely feel like the thumb is a great bass when fretless. now that i have an infinity sn tcs, i question why i ever thought the thumb was the absolute favorite of mine, haha. it hasn't really diminished my opinion of the thumb, but this infinity is something else entirely. very sweet sounding bass.
I had a pair of fretted and fretless from Carvin and to me they sounded different, well it was obvious the "mwah" on the fretless.
