K-Funk, That trio ya got there looks SWEET!!!

Thanks! I really dig your Thumb 4-string!

The Flashback is an interesting bass, that's for sure. I can get almost an exact P-bass tone from the neck pickup, and a pretty "burpy" Jaco tone from the rear twin-J pickup. With the 3-year-old Chromes currently on it, it's got a nice, vintage-y sound that I use for recording with my girlfriend (she's a pianist/singer-songwriter). Her songs tend to be of the indie-rock variety, and the Flashback sounds big and bouncy, like a giant beach ball full of jello. I keep it tuned a whole-step down, like Pino Palladino. With my band, though, it's all about the 5-strings, and occasionally my BEAD-tuned '86 Stingray.

Your description is so cool! Sounds like that Flashback is a real winner with a great purpose! I love it when a bass can fit a special need and you can have other basses to fit other needs as well...

Whats the best way to tighten up my volume pots. They're kinda loose.

Have to brag on my Streamer, its gets transported everday to and from work, in a gig bag with 25mm padding. Even though its extremely hot here in Iraq (132 yesterday), and its cold in my room, it stays in tune like nobodies bussiness. Im super cereal proud of it!

Remember that Warwicks can be used in CQC! With massive woods like bubinga and afzelia, it hurts to get whacked on the nugget!

Hey mate,
There's a small grub screw on each pot that clamps it to the shaft.
I know whatcha mean by stayin in tune.I just sold an 03 Thumb NT5 that would stay in tune after a 547km drive, not just once, but over 15 times.;)
