Any chance with a drum machine and cleanish tone?

Not true. No one mentioned the DSM/Humboldt Simplifier Bass Station up to that point, which is based on the SVT.

Yes I can definitely do that. I'll mic the cab and take a DI and use my pedals through it as well.Any chance with a drum machine and cleanish tone?

Yes I will record the mic on the amp as well as di.I would prefer you run it through your amp with a mic.
Seems like that's how most might use it.
I did the same thing.... over a two week period, I kept them both on my board and A/B'd them over and over. Both are killer, but in the end I kept the Superb 300.I have done it. I have done a side by side comparison of the SVpre and the Super 300. I don't think I've ever had two pedals that were this close on every level. I'm sorry I have no sound clips and I am not going to describe what differences I heard or believe I heard. I still have the feeling that people aren't diming the master on the SVpre and finding the magic in that pedal. Even if the actual settings on the pedals are in different locations, you can pretty much find an identical sound on the other. However, I am not a collector and could only keep one. Keep in mind that I don't care about size. If I stop here and say TBC.. can I charge a fee for posting my conclusion? No? Damn. It was worth a try. Well, despite being one of hose obsessed Broughtonites, I have to give the edge to the Super 300. I can't really be too specific, I just somehow gets that one micro percentage of betterness (I just coined that word. It sounds better than superiority). Also, I am not claiming that one is more SVT like than the other, just which one I preferred overall. There, I said it.
Thanks! And Chorus is the Electro Harmonics Bass CloneHey Vinny! Very nice demo and playing; thanks for that.
