Hey guys,
I am looking for a Pedulla Pentabuzz in great to excellent condition. Would like a more recent model with newer logo. Any colour other than not blue-green burst

Prefer 17.5 spacing but 19 not a show stopper.

I have a US shipping address so no hassle for US sellers.

There's a cherryburst Pentabuzz with 17.5mm spacing for sale in the TB classifieds.

Wow - you definitely know what you want! Bummer that seller won't ship. I know the new ones are very expensive ($5000-ish), so a used Pentabuzz in good condition for under $2500 is a great find.

Thanks. Did a bunch of research on these on the used market. Here on TB they seem to go for less money. Average seems to be in the $1800-$2000 range a little more for later model at little less for 80s-90s.

It's a 2005 Thunderbass I found online at Guitar Center. Sign me up for the club! This thing is amazing! I can't believe how articulate and clear the high notes are, along with the punch and growl in the mids and lower ranges. The ebony fingerboard feels like a dream, too. The neck is really wide and the 5th string will require some getting used to, but I think I'm hooked. What an amazing instrument. And gorgeous to boot!

TIme for me to join the club. Here's my pedulla Rapture, circa 96, bought here on TB a year ago. Please add me to the list
NOw to my question.
I'm looking for any info or advice about a late 1970s Pedulla EMS that I am going to look at tomorrow. HEre are a few photos. I'm told that the pickups have been changed to Carvins and the tuners also changed from Grover to Sperzels.
The serial is in the 240s.

Would you have any idea what the original pickups would have been. DImarzio or Bartolini? Can you tell from the photo whether the electronics set up (# of knobs and switches etc) looks original and whether the Badass bridge would have been original to these.

There seem to be very few of these around and I cannot find much info or even begin to know what it might be worth. I probably would want to restore at least near original pickups and tuners. Any value idea? Cosmetically, used but sound. PRobably around 8/10 for the age.

Also, how do these compare with the MVP in terms of playability, construction etc.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Btw, I have seen a few nice CL Pedullas of late if you don't find its what you're looking for...
