Saw this bass today. IT looks like it was converted to passive (pre-amp removed, cut/boost switched disconnected. THInking of restoring but parts could be an issue SOunds pretty good passive with the carvin pups. THoughts anyone?

Buy a complete bass unless you are getting it pretty cheap.

Best price is around $600 .But these are so rare there's not way to figure what it's worth.

Thanks for the input on the late-70s Pedulla. Based on advice here and talking with the folks at Pedulla (cost of restoration etc) I decided to pass on the EMS.

Ugh... begninning to wish I had investigated trading my Pentabuzz for a Buzz.... I'm missing that Pedulla fretless sound.... They're, so far, very rare used.

I had seen it on their site, but my collection has grown a bit much; so much, that my wife would not appreciate another bass coming into the house (6 Pedullas: 2 T-Basses, 3 T-Bolts, 1 Rapture & 2 USA Spectors): you'd think I'd be satisfied... and of course, I rarely have time to play - LOL

I recently purchased 1989 MVP 5 serial 2328. I was looking for an Alembic and ended up with the Pedulla, and it was a great decision. The neck is perfect, it almost plays itself. Maybe one day I'll revisit the want for an Alembic, but I'm 100% happy with the Pedulla.

I was always a little turned off by the body shape. Then I played a friend's Rapture, and I was really impressed with the neck. A couple months ago I ran into a great deal on the MVP5 and basically had to get it. It feels great, and the body shape has really grew on me.
