Just got a late 2012 Pentabuzz.
Would very much appreciate if you experts could tell me more about the finish and A-grade
I’m guessing tobacco-burst and AA, but there’s no indication inside the electronics cavity.
P.S. sorry about the messy location, major refurbishing of my house forced all musical instruments to be crammed up in the studio...

I think so too: some of his work is just eye-popping, but I would feel uncomfortable with something so... conspicuous. This is kind of discreet and workman-like

That looks like 17.5mm spacing between the strings.

Might be. I haven’t measured it and I use 5-strings with all kind of spacing, from Stingray to Yamaha. Doesn’t make much difference to me

Out of curiosity, I checked: it’s 19”
Anyone have any idea about the A grading and name of the finish?

There are copies floating around of the serial number Mike had posted on his site.
I'll try to upload my copy. It looks like 8300 was 2002.
