I know that Pedulla is no longer making basses, but it appears they have completely shut down now. I had been in contact with the company as late as last January and they were still servicing their basses, but I had to withdraw from a scheduled slot for servicing. I regret that now. Many pages on their website have gone dark including home, service, and contact pages. They're not responding via email. If anyone has any knowledge to the contrary, I'd really love to hear it.

I need a refinish of the fingerboard at the very least. Perhaps new pots, hopefully not pickups. Does anyone know where I might go for such a specialized poly refinish?

What's happened to that fingerboard is truly horrific.

On my 2015 Pentabuzz I can see the very beginnings of it starting to happen on some of the lines. The polyester is just barely starting to bubble up around the line.

Does anyone know what causes this to happen and how to prevent it? Is this the eventual fate of all Buzzes?

Guys, my Pentabuzz is still a long way from needing it, but do we have any idea where to get our fingerboards redone now that Mike's retired?
Pat Wilkins refinished my fretless Rapture and did a great job for a fair price. I recommend him.

FWIW, I don't think he made many - when he refinished that one - which will be 30y.o. next year - for me, he told me that he didn't really like the fretless tone from the maple neck

Hello all....I'm in need of an MVP 4 in any condition, prefer a well used or battered one. Broken truss rod &/or twisted neck okay! Any condition really...I had 3 of them and like an idiot I sold them.

The third of my first fretless basses (all ‘70’s fretless P Basses) was one of those oddball cherry sunburst maple fingerboarded fretless P’s with the high gloss finish. It was a bit brighter than the first two which were bare rosewood. All three were stolen at various times and I actually got the 3t sunburst one back. The 2 kids that broke into my house and stole it, got busted because it was fretless and not common, and got jail time for over a hundred B&E’s! All because of no frets!

Pedullist, did you get the knobs?
I ordered 2. They are as advertised, the finish is identical, though I noticed the white stripe is a bit wider than the originals. That wouldn't show if you replaced all 4 and they will darken a bit with age. And nobody but a fussy owner is likely to notice.

I'm looking for some informed advice about what my minty 4-string 2005 Pedulla mpv with original case is worth. There doesn't seem to be many for sale our there, especially 4 string. People must be holding on to them since Mike retired. I'm thinking about selling since I"m going mostly passive these days, though I may regret it. I've listed the specs below. This has had very little playtime by the original owner or me (2nd owner.) Unlike many damaged finishes I've seen, this one is immaculate.

COLOR: Amber Sunburst

NECK: Capillary (neck-through), 3 piece maple laminate

Maybe moisture? (maybe prevented by wiping down strings/board after playing?)
