It's fretted. I like the black look too. Thinking of going with a black pearl pick guard though...I really like the way this bass sits when strapped on. It just handles real nice, love the neck too.

I have a 4-string Rapture with the single soapbar PU. I agree, ergonomics are great, wonderful neck...it's a real hotrod!

Picked up a 1996 Pedulla Thunderbolt. 4 string, AAA maple top, natural blonde. Been around the block and formerly owned by the bassist from Eve to Adam out of New York. Stenciled on the case. Nice action, great neck for my hands and easy to play. Loving the tone.

They are fender tape wound 9120s. I like them. I typically prefer flatwounds. Love this bass. Thanks for the complements.

Very nice bass to play, after checking it in group I think it will quickly become my main bass even if the 9 others that I own are good.

My local GC has 2 brand new MVP/Buzz cases For like $89 each. Bummer is they're empty. Anyone needing a hard case? One says. You never played better and the other says The Serious Bass (like mine). Black inside and out.
