Hey folks,
I am considering gutting my single soap bar Rapture of it's p/u and pre-amp. I am looking for suggestions as to what to replace them with... I would ideally like more mid controls than the two band cut/boost currently in it.
I'd really appreciate p/u recommendations as well as pre-amp suggestions.
Thanks very much!

Nice to see you, Lucky! Hopefully youll be able to join soon!Hey guys, first time posting in the Pedulla club.
Youre right; Ive been following Pedullas on ebay the past few years, and they seem to top out in the $2300-2500 range. Thats for the top of the line models, and often (if not typically) they dont even get that much. And so here is my newbie question: I'm seeing new Pedullas on Bass Central with price tags of $4295.00 pretty consistently, yet I've done a search and I'm seeing that almost every Pedulla (thunderbass) sells for $2,000 or under, even if it's in great shape. Many in the $1800 range. Can anyone tell me why that is?
I know that resale for boutique basses can be pretty drastic, but this seems more than usual to me.
Pretty sure they're custom D'Addarios. Mike told me to use tapered windings, like his for better intonation and resonance..
