wow. good news! sucks that you had a scare, and it sucks that your gig is gone... but things could be worse!Just heard from the guitarist, the other end of the building burned, so we are only looking at potential smoke damage. Being a bar band, the equipment gets smoke damage every week, so this might be okay. Except for losing the gig revenue.
This same thing happened to my guitarist ....the guitarist dashed... into the building to grab his Les Paul and as much stuff as he could carry.....

Still waiting to hear the verdict. My Phil Jones 16H folded horn cabinet (one of maybe10 in the world) and my Fender Bassman 300t (discontinued, and getting scarce) were in there.
Even if the fire didn't touch the stage, I'm sure the sprinklers took care of everything.
Frustrating to be several hours away while this goes on!
