The Reverend Club (Part 2)

Mine used a very good lawer for a rather quick and thorough exsanguination  I ended up living in someone elses basement for a few years after all was said and done :hmm: Never have kids by or actually get married to your "starter wife" :D

Nice. :p

I got lucky, though. My wife (still on my first -- 10 years now) has a Ph. D. in E.E. from Stanford, and works while I stay at home with my daughter. I hated giving up teaching, but my daughter has special needs. In the meantime, my wife makes three times what I did as a teacher, and has supported and encouraged most of my bass purchases, which in recent years have bordered on obsessive/excessive. :D

Did I mention that she surprised me with a Bergantino IP310 for my birthday last year? :hyper:

Yeah, she's a keeper. More so even than my beloved Reverends (which are her favorites of my basses). She's got good taste in gear, if (apparently) not in husbands. :p

D'oh! One got away! Somebody in San Francisco put their five-string Reverend up for sale on Craig's List for $350. I sent several responses but couldn't get the seller's attention. Then the listing vanished. Perhaps a cruel joke?

Fol, you are a hawk on CL. I'm still surprised I got that P/J with you on the prowl. When was the ad posted?

As long as we're swerving; bartman...did you ever meet Rodent before he moved?

Nope. He couldn't make the GTG where we hoped to try out your '51 P5 before he sent it off to you.

I was hoping to meet him though, and perhaps pick his brain about the possibility of making me a passive dual Dark Starred bass along the lines of a Lakland Decade, but without the $2k+ price tag.

We now return you to your fishing program, already in progress . . .

Is it possible to search all of craigslist at a time, or does one have to go city by city to fish?
