I don't know what strings they are, I asked Folmeister the same thing via PM They sound and feel great, nice and bendy. I was going to put a new set of Knuckleheads on both my Reverends but they can wait.

I have black pups but I was going to try them in my Bacchus jazz. Do you think they would look better in the bugeye?? IMHO, I think it would look cool if all the hardware was black. I dunno

The strings, now that Knifeman has posted those stunning pictures (why again did I sell that?), are nickel-plated Fenders in 100. I LOVE those strings on a Reverend!

I like red ok, it's just I know of other colors I would like more. Actually, a mint guard on my 5L would make a big difference. I just need to get one made.

Cool!! Congrats!!!! I have two Fish but neither have a skunk stripe. I like the shape of the newer necks a little better...........I think. There's only one way to be sure, I need a striped Fish now

I traded a Dessert Gold Bongo 4HH (with MM Case) for it. I need to replace the neck Vol pot, otherwise this fish is Pristine, and setup cruise in the Fast Lane!

I had a dessert gold Bongo 4HH in a MM case. I sold it on here?? I would have done the same trade myself. The Bongo is a cool bass but IMHO, has a modern almost artificial tone. The Fish just have more raw SOUL

Yes, I liked the Bongo alot, but I rarely used it. I LOVE the way a Reverend sounds with a band. Full, Clean, Bright, but still Plenty of Bottom. I am Celebrating All Things Rumblefish!
