I dunno. Hard to tell. I should have paid more attention when I had the pickguard off my Houser.

Yep, they had to create a whole new category of "cool" to handle the 'Fish!
I too am not a fan of Ibanez basses in general. The ATK is the only one I've ever really liked, and I've always harbored a bit of G.A.S. for one. They just sound so freakin' huge. This will put me back up to five basses.. so much for downsizing! But, with two 'Fish, a Lakland Scheff, the ATK and a sunburst P-bass, I might have to start wearing sunglasses around the house. :cool:
 
Last night I was asked to go to a jam session with a whole buncha guitars, another bassist/keys, and a drummer. They were all fine players and I had a great time. I took the Blackfish and it was quite a hit; they were all curious about the construction, the look, and the sound. No one there had ever seen or even heard of one. It sounded terrrific thru my Eden/Berg setup. :)
